Truman Albert Gabby was born February 19, 1908 in Clarksville, Iowa to Truman B. and Jenny Gabby.

He married Clara Ulve June 1, 1930 in Lake Mills, Iowa.

He worked for AlCAN Highway in Alaska from 1943-45. He Owned and operated car dealerships in Parkersburg, Swea City and Buffalo Center, Iowa during the 1950s. He retired in 1978 from Farm Bureau Insurance Agency in Waterloo, Iowa where he had worked for 17 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara in 1975 and his wife, Louise in Jan 1994.

Left to cherish his memory are sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Nancy Gabby of Blair; Bruce and Jan Gabby of Kingman, Arizona; and a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Ralph Capitani of Knoxville; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Rachael Buckles of Des Moines, Iowa and a brother, Thomas of Bagley, Minnesota.

Services were Monday, May 23 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Knoxville, Iowa for Truman Albert Gabby, 86 who died May 19, 1994 in Knoxville. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery at Cedar Falls, Iowa.
