married life of nearly 64 years. Surviving are their 5 sons and
4 daughters (Guy, Cora-Mrs. Simon Brenneman, Jay, Ralph, Barbara, Mary-Mrs. Clark Brenneman, Daniel, Samuel, and Edna-Mrs. Wallace Gascho), 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 sisters (Mrs. Catherine Spry, Mrs. Florence Miller, and Mrs. D. E. Bontrager). In her youth she became a member of the East Union Church; at the time of the organization of the Kalona Church, she transferred her membership to Kalona.
