Hazel was born in Ogden, to William E Goodell, Sr. and Hazel Anna Nelson. She was raised and educated in Ogden.
Hazel was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She married Robert Andrus, Sr. on September 25, 1956 in Salt Lake City.
She loved spending time with her family and doing crafts with her sister Florence.
Hazel is survived by her four sons and one daughter: Brent (Minette) Andrus, of Clearfield, Robert (Lisa) Andrus, Jr., of Elk Grove, CA, Marilyn Montes, of Clinton, Kevin Andrus, of Ogden, and James Dee Andrus, of Eden; 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; three sisters and one brother.
She was preceded in death by both parents; husband; one sister; and one brother.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Eden 2nd Ward, 2655 North Hwy 162. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Eden Mountain View Cemetery.
