Ronald G. Lowe of Scranton passed away peacefully at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, late Monday night surrounded by family. Ronald is a son of the late Robert and Mercedes Lowe and grew up on a farm in Newton Twp. with his 13 siblings. Ronald worked as a heavy equipment operator for Gilarde Construction and retired from TSE Utility Contractors. Before his illness, Ronald enjoyed camping, hunting and playing cards.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; brothers, Robert (Ruth), Kenneth (Joan), Stephen (Mary); sisters, Roberta, Ann Marie (John), Stella (Charlie), Eva, Janet (John), Cathy (Larry), Edie Mae, Shirley (Robert); and a sister-in-law, Lorraine; sons, Ronald (Nicole), Jimmy (Erin), Joseph (Lisa); brother-in-law, Wayne (Sue); seven grandchildren, three great- grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by a sister, Debra; a brother, Johnny; and brothers-in-law Thomas Pierce and Richard Fischer.

Ronald's wife, Mary Ann, would like to especially thank their nephew Stephen and niece Lisa for all their love, support and devotion to the care of their uncle during his illness.

Ronald's family would like to thank the Select Care Unit staff at Geisinger Danville for all of the care, compassion and support.

A memorial service will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhust Twp., with committal to follow.

Arrangements are by the Duffy and Snowdon Funeral Homes of Scranton and Moscow, Pa.
