Charles William "Bill" Young age 85 of Lexington, formerly of Springfield, died at 6:18 p.m. Monday April 17, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
He is survived by: his wife, Mary Elizabeth Logan Young of Lexington; two sons, Darnell Young of Springfield and David Young of Lexington; two sisters, Catherine McKee and Judy Carter both of Lexington, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral mass for Charles William "Bill" Young will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Springfield with burial in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.
A prayer service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, April 20, at the Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield who is in charge of arrangements and where friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday and again from 7 a.m. till 10:15 a.m. on Friday.
