Henry Clinton Harper - is the son of George and Lucinda Harper of Bath County KY. Moved to Jackson County Missouri with his family prior to 1850 and lived in the Independence and Lees Summit areas. Was a lawyer,also sold real estate in Jackson County MO. Married in 1863 to Mary Rachel Yager, daughter of Judge James Yager. 2nd wife Marie E. Hobbs in 1883, and 1887 to 3rd wife Margaret Woodson - daughter of Samuel Woodson, Lawyer. Died at Liberty MO.
