Edward Alberg Anderson was born in 1917 to Edward Frank Anderson and Bertha C. Alberg. He was the oldest of their two children, having a younger sister Eloys Anderson. Ed earned his B.S. degree in Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.
Edward married Dorothy Virginia Bohlin on 8 Jun 1946. They had 4 children - Nancy, Susan, Dean and Joan. The family lived for a number of years in South Holland, IL, eventually moving to Lake Forest.
