Sadie was the 4th of 17 children born to Wesley and Martha Bell Taylor. She left Yazoo County and moved to Humphreys County in the late 1940’s where she met and married Mr. Sam Wheeler Jr. She provided dedicated service to Friends of Children of Mississippi for more than 20 years.

Sarah was a generous, kind, loving and gentle person who would give her last to help someone in need. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, working puzzles and playing games – her favorite being Scrabble. She was also a very religious woman. She loved reading her bible and talking to others about God’s word. She was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness in 1980 and remained a faithful servant of Jehovah for the rest of her days.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents Wesley Taylor Jr. and Martha Bell Burns-Taylor and husband Sam Wheeler Jr. Three brothers: Wallace C. Taylor, Earnest L. Taylor and Wesley Taylor III. And three sisters: Edna Stewart, Ruthie Mae McClain and Alice Pearl Taylor.

She left to cherish her memory 2 daughters and a son; 3 brothers and 7 sisters; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a special son-in-law and a host of extended family and friends.
