Nancy B. Lynch, age 75, of Big Cove Tannery, PA passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Fulton County Medical Center in McConnellsburg, PA. Nancy was born April 4, 1941 in Big Cove Tannery, PA, the daughter of the late William Chester and the late Olive Ruth (Truax) Feagley. She married Homer J. Lynch Sr. on March 24, 1956 in Cumberland, MD. Nancy worked for many years at the G.C. Murphy and the Dollar General Store until she retired. In her free time, Nancy enjoy spending time with her family and playing bingo.
Nancy is survived by her husband Homer J. Lynch Sr. of Big Cove Tannery, PA, two daughters, Carmine (wife of Paul) Unger of Fort Loudon, PA and Tracey (wife of Terry) McCoy of Mont Alto, PA, 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters, Polly Mumma of Knobsville, PA and Markay Stitely of New Franklin, PA.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, her son Homer J. “Jack” Lynch Jr of Eastbourne, United Kingdom and four brothers, Earl, Parker, Sherman and Chester Feagley.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm on Monday, March 27 at Kelso - Cornelius Funeral Homes, 322 North Second St., McConnellsburg, PA with Rev. Neil Ray officiating. There will be a time of visitation from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will be at Laurel Ridge Christian Church, Big Cove Tannery immediately following the service.
