Born August 4, 1989 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Jeffrey Roland Pollard and Jacquelyn Schwartz Pollard White.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Joseph was a generous person with a kind heart. He was loved by everyone who knew him. He enjoyed cooking and was passionate in all his endeavors.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jacquelyn and Bill White of Kearneysville; one sister, Ashley Spalding of Winchester, VA; one nephew, Kenneth Spalding, Jr., one uncle, Michael J. Schwartz and wife, Jill of WI; one aunt, Jennifer Schwartz of IL; maternal grandmother, Janice Koontz and husband, Ron and numerous cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dennis Schwartz and great grandparents, George and Cecilia Schwartz.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at St Leo Catholic Church in Inwood, WV. Interment will be in St. Leo Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV on Friday evening from 6-8pm with a Vigil at 7:00 pm.
