Wil (Sonny to his family) was born in Thomasville, GA. He served in the U.S. Army for 4 years and moved to Tallahassee after he was discharged in 1972. He was a licensed pool contractor and owned and operated Pro Pools in Tallahassee for 45 years. He also owned a Christmas tree farm in Havana.
Other survivors include one son, Alan Sellars of Punta Gorda; one step-daughter, Kristi Bortz of Crystal River; one step-son, Wesley Antill of Crystal River; three step-brothers, Byron Barfield of Idaho; and Emory and Ken Barfield of Thomasville; and two grandsons, Colton and Mason Antill. Always by Wil's side was his beloved dog, Cracker.
