Daughter of William John and Emily Charlotte (nee Bennett) Brown. Wife of Albert Richard Roberts. Emily enlisted in the Australian Army Nursing Service on 10 May 1915. She served in Egypt, Lemnos, France and England. Promoted to Sister on 1 September 1917. She returned to Australia on 24 December 1918 per Hospital Ship "Kanowna" on duty. Her appointment was terminated on 5 April 1919. She died aged 67 years.
