Daughter of Yates and Emma (nee Mullens) Brooks. Wife of Charles John Emil Clerici. Constance enlisted in the Australian Army Nursing Service on 8 December 1916 and served as a Staff Nurse in World War 1. She was promoted to Sister on 1 October 1918. She resigned her appointment on 7 January 1919 due to her marriage in Bombay, India.
