Ollie Robert Reeves, 71, died Saturday in Henry County Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

A native of Grange City, Ky., Mr. Reeves lived in New Castle for the past 50 years. He retired from Ingersoll Steel Corp after working there 34 years.

He was a member of South Memorial Drive Church of God and Lewisville, Knightstown and New Castle Brotherhood-Sisterhood Organization. His wife, Dorothy, died in 1982.

Surviving are a daughter, Sue Davis; a son Robert (Buddy); five sisters, Nina Yapp, Bess Reeves, America Norris, Ellen Adams and Veda Brooks; and three brothers, David, Herbert and Barney.
