Sharon Wendell, 65, of Fort Dodge, died at Trinity Regional Medical Center after a long illness with cancer.
Services were held Nov. 18 at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel. Sharon Moore attended school in Fort Dodge graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1968 and later graduated from Bernel College of Cosmetology. Sharon was united in marriage to Danny Wendell and the couple later divorced. She was employed at Sheer Magic and Just Debs Beauty Salon and she loved working as a care giver at Friendship Haven. She retired after 21 years due to her ill health. Sharon also babysat all of her grandchildren. Sharon loved cooking and baking for family and friends. She also loved camping with family. Sharon will be missed by family and all who knew her.
Sharon is survived by three daughters, 13 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. She also issurvived by a sister and two brothers. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Wendell; parents Rex and Geraldine Moore, and a brother, Billy Moore.
