Marilyn was employed at Binney & Smith in Easton and retired after 30-plus years with the company. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton.
Survivors include her children, Mary Alice Farnum and husband, Jim, of Ocean City, MD, Frank Messa and wife, Brenda, of Easton, and Ed Messa and partner, Debra Matus, also of Easton; grandchildren, Melissa Houck, Richard Miller, Matthew Messa, Andrew Messa, Kyle Messa, and Megan Heimbach, as well as 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, James Rutherford of Mississippi. In addition to her parents and husband, Marilyn was predeceased by four brothers and sisters.
Private funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Finegan Funeral Home in Palmer Township, PA.
