" Wanda Faye Lewis Day, age 66, passed away at home on Monday, April 17, 2017. Services will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Vernie McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow at Switzer Cemetery. Visitation will be at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on 11:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday.

Wanda was born in Scottsburg, Indiana on September 3, 1950, to the late Mathias Leander and Clora Marie Miller Lewis. She was united in marriage to Tim Day, who also preceded her in death. She loved her children, best friend, Diana Gayhart, loving dogs, Baby and Sissy, and country music.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son; Phillip Tracy III; her siblings, Charlie Lewis, R. D. Miller and Pauline Carrier; and by her granddaughter, Brandy Tracy.

She is survived by her daughter, Shannon (William) McCormick; her siblings, Lee Sheetinger, Herby Sheetinger, and Vernie McIntosh; and by her grandchildren, Brandon Cassity, Robert William Addison, and Johnathan Samuel Tracy.

Flowers are welcome and expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass (now known as Bluegrass Care Navigators), 663 Teton Trail, Frankfort, KY 40601.
