Shawn Jacob Berry, 28, died Saturday, April 15, 2017 at his residence. He was born March 11, 1989 in Kittanning to Edward Berry and Betsy Duncan. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Shawn loved his family. He liked fishing with his dad and brother, fast cars, animals, shooting guns with his pappy, uncle, and brother, and playing video games with his brother, Ben. Left to cherish his memory are his parents; his brother, Ben Berry; sister, Jessie Berry; maternal grandfather, Robert Duncan; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Shawn was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Patricia Given; paternal grandmother, Jessie Cousins; grandfather, Edward Berry Sr.; uncle, William Berry. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home in Kittanning. Interment will be at Cochran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Shawn's memory to Arc Manor.
