Johnny "John" W. Ashcraft was a wonderful husband, father, friend, and business associate. John was an electrical contractor.

John passed away on his 50th birthday.

John was born to Joyce and Joseph Ashcraft. He graduated from Carter-Riverside High School in 1974. He served in the U.S. Marines Corps from 1974 to 1979. John moved to Weatherford in 1986, where he was the owner of Showcase Electric. He was a member of I.E.C. .

John was preceded in death by his father, Joseph; and aunt, Joy.

Survivors: Wife of 30 years, Catherine Ashcraft; sons, Jeremy Ashcraft and wife, Chasidy, Jacob and Jordan Ashcraft; brother, Les McDarty and wife, Kimberley; stepbrothers, Mike and Pat Ashcraft and James Horan and wife, Brenda; stepsister, Tyke; stepmother, Ronnie Huckaby: nieces, Leah, Hannah and Melissa McDarty; mother, Joyce Qualls; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
