Franklin C. Attkisson, age 61, of St. Cloud, FL, died unexpectedly on April 6, 2017. He was a loving husband, father, papa and brother who served with character and integrity in everything he did. Most importantly he was a man of God, that selflessly loved his wife, and led
his three children to Christ-leaving a lasting legacy here on earth. Our family, church, and this community will remember the impact he made on so many lives. Frank was born in St. Petersburg, FL on November 2, 1955, to the late Benjamin and Martha Attkisson. He attended Winter Haven High School and graduated from Florida Southern College. On September 8, 1979, he married the love of his life, Juda Norman, of Winter Haven, FL and spent the next 37 years creating a lifetime of memories. Frank is survived by his wife, Juda Attkisson; his three children: Laura Rodziwicz and husband Aaron; Benjamin Attkisson and wife Jaclyn; Christopher Attkisson and wife Nelle; 3 grandchildren: Ella, Lincoln, and Savannah Rodziwicz; his sister Christine Perry. He served his state and community well as City Commissioner from 1992-1994; Mayor of Kissimmee from 1996-2000; State Representative from 2000-2008; County Commission from
2010-2014; and numerous local and state committees. He served alongside his wife at Grace Landing in many capacities, but most importantly he personally invested in the lives of the youth. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on April 10 at Kissimmee Christian Church at 415 N. Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Landing, P.O. Box 702543 St. Cloud, FL 34770.
