Patricia (Pat) Potts died on April 14, 2017.
Pat was born on Aug. 24, 1928 to Willard and Mayme Stearns in Philo. In 1948, she married Orville (Bib) Potts and they resided in Champaign.
She was employed at various places throughout her career, including the Champaign Country Club and at Cablevision located in Urbana, as their office manager.
Pat and Bib enjoyed full-time motorhome exploring during their retirement years and traveled the entire United States. They built homes in Arizona and Arkansas before returning to Illinois in 2000.
Pat was a member of New Horizon United Methodist Church and an active volunteer for the Carle Auxiliary.
Pat is survived by two children, Sharon (Mark) Schnake and Mike (Jamee) Potts; three grandchildren, Jason Schnake (Alison), Pat Schnake (Michelle) and Allison Potts, along with six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bib in 2000 after 52 years of marriage, and her two siblings, Doris and Dick.
