According to "Philip Welch of Ipswich MA and his Descendants" Mary "Polly" Welch was a daughter of Archelaus Welch and Molly Morrison born 1789 at Andover a part of Hillsborough County NH now in Merrimack NH. Capt Richard Copp born also in New Hampshire a son of Moses "first settler" became married to Polly Welch Aug 25 1806 Newport Vermont close to Stanstead. Their first child born was Moses Welch Copp. 10 years later Agnes lived with Ephraim Wood. Theirchildren at top. Polly died Feb 20 1851. Two left being widow again married Sept 22 1853 Agnes Moore Wood to Richard Copp. Ephraim is in 1825 year census. Record in Forests and Clearings by Hubbard.
