Laura loved to help others and volunteered with the Family Readiness Group and Essential Knowledge Veterans Education Program. She was recognized by former Governor Rick Perry receiving the Yellow Rose of Texas Award. Laura enjoyed sewing, working with animals and expressing her brilliantly creative mind through many different forms of media.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Herman Drew and Luther Pitts.
Laura is survived by her husband, Charles Roach; daughters, Victoria Roach and Kylee Magee; her father, Richard Pitts; her mother, Darlene Drew; a sister, Jennie Hallock; two grandchildren, Annilynn and Bellamie Sandefer and grandmothers, Sue Pitts and Gloria January and her husband, Jack.
