A graveside service was conducted at 3 PM Thurs at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev Judson King Officiating.
A native of Chester, Scot was the son of Lila Strickland Pearson of Chester SC and the late Calvin Pearson. He was an honor student of Chester High School and York Technical College. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and employed with the SC Dept of Education in Columbia SC.
In addition to his mother, Scot is survived by his brother Morris Pearson of Chester; 2 nephews and 1 niece.
The family met and received friends at 2 PM until 2:45 PM Thus at Barron Funeral Home, Chester SC.
