Nathan Allen Schultz of Walla Walla, WA passed away April 15th, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mountain View-Colonial DeWitt.
Nathan was born in Walla Walla May 11th 1976 to Michael A. Schultz and JoAnn (Bender) Schultz; he had two brothers, Jason and Joe. He has lived in Walla Walla, Snohomish, Seattle, Milton-Freewater, OR, and Monte Vista, Colorado area.

Nathan attended Prospect Point, Garrison and graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1994. He went to Walla Walla Community College and then attended Washington State. Nathan joined the Navy in March 1997 until April 2000. He had been stationed in Turkey and Italy. He was an Aviation Electronics Technician, and was trained to install and troubleshoot radio, radar, communication, electronic jamming systems and components for the EA-6B electronic attack jet.
Nathan then lived in the Seattle area from 2000 to 2010, and became a 06 journeyman electrician. In 2010 and 2011 Nathan took a short hiatus from the electrical field and moved away from the Seattle area to work as a deck hand in Lewiston, Idaho. Nathan also helped guide steelhead fishing trips with his brother Jason on the Snake and Clearwater rivers; he met a lot of new people there including his wife to be.

In 2011 he became employed with Hays Electric and moved back to the Walla Walla area with his fiancée and her two children. They later were married on November 14, 2012.
He was working for Doyle Electric, when he had to stop working because he was diagnosed with stage four cancer.
When Nathan was younger he loved his legos, as he got older he enjoyed participating in plays, making video films, comics, and playing War Games with his friends. Nathan shared a love of music with his brother Joe. He composed and created music; this was a side of him that few people ever got to see. Nathan also had a love for gardening and plants. One of Nathan’s many happy memories was getting to hold and see the first smile of his niece Joella May Schultz.

Nathan is survived by his spouse, Ruth Davis of Milton-Freewater, OR and his two step-children Michael and Anna Slaughter. His mother JoAnn and step-dad Larry Block, two brothers, Jason (Heather) Schultz and their two children, Brayden and Brooklyn of Clarkston, Idaho and Joseph (Amber) Schultz, of Milton-Freewater, OR, grandmother Betty Schultz of College Place, grandfather Dawanye Fredrickson of Paul, Idaho, in-laws, Greg and Lydia Thime of Nevada, and numerous aunts, uncles, and friends. Nathan was preceded in death by his father Michael A. Schultz, grandfather Alex Schultz and grandmother Irene Fredrickson. Nathan also felt great sadness when his great step-grandmother Delphia McGrew passed away.
