Gerald P. (Jerry) Allsup

FONTANA - Gerald P. (Jerry) Allsup, 72, a long time resident of Fontana, born in Madill, Okla. on Sept. 15, 1916, died April 25, 1989.

He was a retired Captain from the Fontana Fire Dept. and was also retired as Chief of the Monrongo Valley Fire Dept.

Mr. Allsup is survived by his wife of 53 years, Theresa of Bloomington; son, Pinky Allsup of Bishop; daughters, Bunny Hughes of Rialto and Wanda Provencher of Mira Loma; sister, Darlene Patterson of Montgomery, Ala.; eight loving grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation is 9 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 1989, and services are 1 p.m. Monday, May 1, 1989, both at Montecito Memorial Chapel in Loma Linda.

Interment is at Montecito Memorial Park.

Montecito Memorial Chapel is directing and the Central Valley Fire District is assisting.
