He was of the Baptist faith and a U.S. Navy and a U.S. Army Paratroopers veteran during the Korean conflict. He was a well known mechanic and owned his own garage B&W Auto repairs, and later became a truck driver and owned his own business B&F Trucking.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Freda Bryant Warren of the home, a son, Cliff (Norma) Bryant of Martinsville, a daughter, Cynthia Lynch of Rocky Mount, and four grandchildren, Kristal Bryant of Cary, NC, Corky Bryant of Bassett, B.J. Lynch and Blanton J. Lynch both of Rocky Mount.
His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April19, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home with James Cole and Peyton Gilbert officiating the service. Entombment will be in the Roselawn Mausoleum with military honors presented by the Martinsville Henry County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 6-8:00 pm in the chapel of Roselawn.
