Abraham Ingraham III, was born in 1743. There are 3 different places of birth listed for him. One for E Shore, MD, another for Greenbriar VA, and a third for Sussex DE.
We have chosen Greenbriar VA, mainly because this is where he married his wife Elizabeth Slaven. She was born in Rockingham or Pocahontas VA. It would make sense that they would marry where one of them were from and would have family.

For the greater part of their marriage they resided in Virginia but they moved to Indiana in 1795 but the 1810 census shows they are back in Harrison Co., VA

During their marriage Abraham and Elizabeth had 17 children. 9 boys and 8 girls.

In January 25, 1777, he enlisted in Vance's Regiment, and fought in the Revolutionary War.

Abraham died February 14, 1817 in Harrison County, VA

He was my fourth Great Grandfather, may he rest in peace.

Abraham Ingram was thought to be the son of Abraham Ingram and Rhoda Collins.
