Doyline, LA. – Services for Mr. Dan L. Watson, 78, of Doyline, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday May 22 at the Doyline United Methodist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Frank Jones will officiate. Burial will be at Doyline Cemetery. Plans are under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, LA. Mr. Watson, a retired automobile salesman and a native of Bear Creek, La., died at 6:30 a.m. Monday, May 2, 1984, at Humana Hospital in Minden after a sudden illness. He is survived by one step-son, Bill Rodgers of Jackson, Miss.; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Kirkley and Mrs. Robert Kemper, of Doyline; one brother, Loy A. Watson of Minden; and several nieces and nephews.
