Obituary:
Wilma Jean Reynolds, 74, of Elsmere, Kentucky, returned to her heavenly home on Friday, April 14th, 2017. She was born to the late Elva and Jackson "Moss" [sic] McGee on June 11th, 1942. Wilma attended Clay County High School before moving to Cincinnati, OH. She was a Manager at the Gas Pits in Florence, KY, for five years. When the gas pits closed in 1984, she went on to serve as a Non-Clinical Staff Member for Dr. Mangat in Crestview Hills, KY, for 19 years.
In 1965, Wilma met the love of her life, Earl Reynolds, before marrying him in 1970. They moved to their home in Elsmere, KY, in 1970.
Family and friends were Wilma's passion and delight. In addition to raising their six children, grandchildren, and most recently great-grandchildren, she also enjoyed playing bingo, watching Kentucky Wildcats basketball, as well as going to watch car racing at local dirt tracks. Wilma is survived by her husband, Earl Reynolds (78); sons Henry Robbins (Shannon) of Florence, KY, Dallas Robbins (Karen) of Elsmere, KY, Glen Robbins (Chris) of Hamilton, OH, Jerry Reynolds of Crittenden, KY, and daughters Marilyn Moscoe (Ernie) of Elsmere, KY, and Linda Reynolds (Chris) of Florence, KY; 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; her brothers Sherman McGee of Hamilton, OH, Dallas McGee of Annville, KY, and sisters Bert Moore of Lawton, OK, and Clara Sturgill of Manchester, KY, and a number of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents (Robert & Clara McGee)known as "Grand Pa Bob and Clara Jackson", in-laws (George & Ellen Reynolds), brother-in-law Robert (Bert) Moore, brother-in-law Glen Reynolds , daughter-in-law Stephanie (Jerry) Reynolds, and grandson Otis Rice (Amber), and first husband Paul Robbins, nephew Doug McGee, niece Faye [sic] Hacker, great-nephew Little Tony McGee. Visitation will be held at Don Catchen and Son Funeral Home, 3525 Dixie Highway, Elsmere, KY 41018, on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, 2167 Dixie Highway, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017, on Wednesday, April 19th, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with A Celebration of Life following at the Ralph Fulton VFW Post 6423, 4435 Dixie Highway Elsmere, KY 41018, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Jean Reynolds Fund c/o any Fifth Third Bank or Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth Foundation at 483 S Loop Rd, Edgewood, KY 41017. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the organization and its staff.
