Dave Johnson, age 82 of Connersville, IN (formerly of London, KY) passed away on Friday, April 14 at Hickory Creek in Connersville, IN.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Nellie Hicks Johnson; one sister, Dora Hibbard of Connersville, IN, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alec & Amanda Hammons Johnson; nine siblings, Delbert, Albert, Garfield “Bud” and Howard “Ross” Johnson, Maggie Bowling, Ethel Bowling, Lettie Carroll, Millie Bowling and Lillie McIntosh.
He was a factory worker with the Vistione company. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral services for Dave Johnson will be conducted on Wednesday, April 19 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Cecil Benge officiating. Burial will follow in the New Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour, also on Wednesday at the funeral home.
