Putman died Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, in Grapevine.
Born April 18, 1929, in Moran County to James and Mamie Pearl Cooke Haley, she lived in Gainesville most of her life.
She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Halsey and husband, Don, of Highland Village and Connie Williams and husband, Jeff, of Lewisville; grandchilden, Shannon Brougher and husband, Aric, of Richardson, Leigh Ann Harrel and husband, James, of Sanger and Rusty Lynn Comer of Lewisville; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Ryan, McKenzie and Rebecca Brougher, Haley Harrel and Leslie John Comer; a sister, Bonnie Smith of Gainesville; and a brother, Manuel "Tot" Barron of California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, B.R. "Bill" Putman in 1996 and four brothers, Leonard and Elroe Barron and Bernel and Billy Jack Haley.
