PATRICIA ANN (TIERNEY) HENDRICKS, 79, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born March 8, 1938 in Fort Wayne, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Edward and Lucinda (Lobsiger) Tierney. She was a homemaker. She graduated from Central Catholic in 1956. She married Melvin A. Hendricks on Oct. 3, 1959 in Fort Wayne. Member of the Saint Peter's Catholic Church. Surviving relatives include husband, Melvin Hendricks of Fort Wayne; sons, Melvin (Corinne) Hendricks Jr. of Auburn, Ind., Mark (Lorie) Hendricks of Fort Wayne; daughters, Suzanne M. Smith of Fort Wayne, Lisa (Darren) Coburn of Fort Wayne; sister, Carolyn Richardson of Fort Wayne; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Richard Tierney; and sister, Wanda Schaffer. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Saint Peter's Catholic Church, 518 E. Dewald Street, Fort Wayne (IN 46803) with visitation one hour before the service. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at FairHaven Funeral Home, 6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne (IN 46825). Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery Fort Wayne, Ind.
