PERRYSVILLE: JEFFERY S. BAKER, 61, of rural Perrysville, died Thursday evening, April 13, 2017 in UH Samaritan Medical Center after a short illness.

Jeff was born December 4, 1955 in Crestline and was the son of the late Robert C. and Evelyn (Huffman) Baker. He was a farmer and lived his entire life on the southern Ashland County family farm. He was a 1974 graduate of Loudonville High School and enjoyed cutting wood, deer hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his sister, Kimberly (Chad McKenzie) Baker of rural Perrysville; two sons: Jake Baker and Race Baker of Orrville and a grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in LINDSEY FUNERAL HOME, LOUDONVILLE with Pastor Jim Luedeman of Vermillion Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery, Green Township. Friends may call Tuesday, April 18 from 6-8 p.m. in the Lindsey Funeral Home.
