Ruth was born in Apalachee, Georgia to the late William Henry and Bannie Bacon Harper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Enright Harrison and her son, Michael "Mick" Harrison. Ruth was a graduate of Perry High School. She worked at Southern Chemical Products Company for 27 years before working for Bryan Transfer Company. Ruth was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was active for many years.
