Funeral services for Vickie Louise Duke, age 70, of Reklaw are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2017 in the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Walker Chapel Cemetery.
Ms. Duke passed away April 10, 2017 in Rusk.
She was born December 2, 1946 in Lubbock, TX to the late Melvin Guy and Louise Wood Tadlock.
Ms. Duke was a lifelong resident of Reklaw and a longtime member of the New Faith Church in Sacul, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four children and one brother.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Nikki Duke of Rusk, four brothers and sisters-in-law, Guy Jr. and Donna Tadlock of Mabank, TX, Rickey and Sherry Tadlock of Lubbock, Bobby and Jaime Tadlock of Lubbock, Dennis and Paula Brewer of Poyner, TX, four sisters and brothers-in-law, Candy and Jackie Cochran of Lubbock, Jeane and Jim Sims of Walnut, MS, Donna Comfort of Athens, TX, Judy Myers of LaRue, TX, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. up until service time, Friday, April 14, 2017 at the funeral home.
