Reunited Once Again!!!
Our dear Mother, Betty Jo Day Wilcox, was welcomed into Heaven by her loved ones on April 10, 2017. She was born on August 12, 1934 in Colonia Dublan, Mexico. She married Bob Wilcox on April 2, 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Our Mother was loved by so many, always serving others her whole life. Mother was an active member of the LDS Church; she has held several callings, loving all of them. Betty and Bob loved to share their musical talents with friends and family throughout the years. Mother and Dad served an LDS Mission to the Lubbock, TX Mission helping the Institute young people. Mom loved making her cinnamon rolls and homemade bread for all who came to the Institute. Mom was a fantastic baker and cook, always making food for funerals and other gatherings.
Our parents served in the Ogden LDS Temple together, feeling so blessed to be able to have this calling.
Mom worked for Weber County Schools for 25 years as a Secretary; she loved making friends with each student.
Mom and Dad had 6 children: Roy (Melanie), Rhonda (Dave), Jacklyn (Dennis), Oneal (Sara), Ranae (John), and Mark (Denise). Mom has 28 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren! Preceding her in death is her husband, Bob; a son, Oneal; granddaughter, Megan; son-in-law, John Wheeler; and several loved ones.
A funeral service for our Mother will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Middle Fork Ward, 6500 East 1900 North, Eden, Utah with a viewing prior from 9:30-10:30 a.m. A viewing will also be held on Sunday, April 16, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at the church.
Mother will be buried in Paris, Idaho next to our Father.
We as a family want to thank everyone who has blessed our Mother's life, especially the members of the Middle Fork Ward.
