Molly Elliott, 82, passed away April 8, 2017 at Providence Medford Medical Center.
Molly was born November 11, 1934 in Fresno, California to R. Scott and Margaret Williams at the home of her aunt, Margaret Williams (her father's sister).
Molly graduated from El Monte High School and attended Fresno City College for two years before she married Robert Swagerty in April 1955. The two moved to Medford, Oregon and Molly attended Southern Oregon College. They were divorced in 1982.
On April 29, 1991 she married Don E. Elliott in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Molly retired from Bear Creek Corp. in December 1999 where she was an administrative assistant. She was an avid world traveler and proudly displayed her many hat pins collected from each country she visited. Her favorite destinations were Egypt, Costa Rica, and most of all, Seven Feathers Casino! She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and playing pinochle.
Molly was full of life and fun! She was beloved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Molly is survived by her son, Scott Swagerty of Arlington, Washington; two daughters, Karen Elliott of Grants Pass, Ore. and Denise Meza of Medford, Ore.; two brothers, Harlow Williams of Villa Rica, Georgia and Norm Williams of Riverside, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Don E. Elliott.
A celebration of life officiated by her brothers, Norm and Harlow Williams will be held at 11:00 a.m. April 21, 2017 at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
