Mr. Milton H.R. Sadler "Mitt", passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Piedmont Medical Center.
Graveside service will be at 11am on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Laurelwood Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 12 noon at Westminster Presbyterian Church with Dr. Mike Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
Born in Rock Hill, SC on November 18, 1926, he was the son of the late David Hope Sadler, I and the late Margaret Hardee Sadler. Mitt graduated from Winthrop Training School and Clemson University with a degree in Architecture. He served in the US Army in Japan at the end of WWII. Mitt enjoyed playing bridge, gardening and watercolor painting later in life. Mitt was an active member and elder emeritus at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Courtney Dick Sadler and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Sadler's name to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1300 India Hook Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
