Terry Christopher Lovell (1981 - 2017)  

Aug. 20, 1981 - Apr. 13, 2017 Chris Lovell, a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and uncle was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at age 35. He leaves behind his loving wife, two sons who adored him, his parents, one brother, one niece, one nephew, his grandmother, father and mother-in-law, one brother-in-law, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas E. Lovell and Jim & Anneliese Parr; and one uncle, Thomas E. Lovell, Jr. Chris was a 1999 graduate of Erwin High School where he lettered in football. He earned a bachelor of science in business management from UAB. He and his brother owned Lovell's Landscape Management, Inc. He was an avid outdoorsman. Above all, he was devoted to his family. His wife and children were the center of his life. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be Monday, April 17, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm. at The New Gardendale Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Stewart's Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions to a college fund for Brody and Brantley may be made at Traditions Bank.
