He was born Sept 27, 1942, in San Angelo, Texas, the son of Doyle C Dillon and L Lorraine Powell Dillon. He graduated from Burr Oak High School and attended Kansas State University. He was an insurnace agent and owned Insureco.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Ballard-Dillon; two daughters, Angela Bartlett, Abilene; Tanya Dillon, Albuquerque; his mother, Lorraine Frye; a brother, Michael Dillon, Manhattan, a sister, Mary Nichols, Winfield; a step-brother, Donald Frye, Salina; a step-sister, Myra Bolt, Clearwater, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
A private memorial services is Aug 8 at College Avenue United Methodist Church, Manhattan.
