Pat Lambert, 79, of Albany, GA, died Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Morningside Assisted Living. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 17, 2017at 2:00 p.m. at Byne Memorial Baptist church. Dr. Kerry Reeves will officiate. Interment will follow in Andersonville National Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017.

Born in Quincy, FL., Mr. Lambert had resided in Albany, GA since 1970 moving from Hilton Head, SC. He was a graduate of FSU, retired from Homestead Homes, Inc. as their chief financial officer. He had served in the Air Force and was a member of M. B. Council Lodge # 13 F & AM, Americus, GA.

He was a member, past chairman of the board of deacons at Byne Memorial Baptist Church, the finance committee and a Sunday school teacher for the Adult Men's Sunday school class. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thompson Joseph Lambert and Clyde Faust Lambert, his wife, Clara Curry Lambert, brothers, Wilhoit Lambert, Mayo Lambert, Bobby Lambert, Thompson Joseph Lambert, III, and a sister, Marion Quinn.

Survivors include a son, James Thompson Lambert (Wanda), Athens, GA, a daughter, Lea Pein, Tucson, AZ, a granddaughter Maygin Taylor, Gulfport, FL, a brother, William Walter Lambert, Jacksonville, FL and a sister, Bea Bullerdick (Jim), Richmond, IN.

The family will receive friends at Byne Memorial Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Byne Memorial Baptist Church on Monday, April 17, 2017.
