Mrs. Margaret Ransom, 86, Expires after long illness
Taberg, April 25 – Mrs. Margaret Ransom, 86, died Friday night at 9:50 at the home of her step-daughter, Mrs. Nellie Webb, after an illness of several months.
Margaret Meil was born at New London in 1849 and had lived at Blossvale and Camden before coming to Taberg 12 years ago. She was twice married, her first husband being Robert Abraham, to whom she was married in 1867; and her second husband was Stephen Ransom, to whom she was married in 1904. Mr. Ransom died in June 1917. Mrs. Ransom was a quiet woman devoted to home duties.
Surviving are two step-daughters, Mrs. Webb, and Mrs. Ella Forward of Camden; also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Webb home on Monday at 1:30 p.m., and burial will be made at Rathbunville Cemetery.

Funeral Services Held for Mrs. Margaret Ransom
Taberg, April 25 – Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon for Mrs. Margaret Ransom. The Rev. R. C. Hutchinson officiated. The bearers were DeForest Bird, Howard Seifert, Roy MacFarland, Charles Duell, Elmer Kilbourn and Earl Hall.
There were floral pieces from the Truthful Willing Workers, the Good Will Bible Class and friends, neighbors and relative. From out of town, those attending were: Alfred Harrig and daughter, Ruth, New London; Fred Harrig, Kenwood; Mrs. Fannie Fuller and William Sexton, Rome; The Rev. and Mrs. H. E. Eades, Cleveland; Mr. and Mrs. Griffith Williams, Rome; Mr. and Mrs. William Sweatland, McConnellsville; Mrs. Howard Teelan and Miss Vera Forward, Camden; Mr. and Mrs. William Forward, Blossvale. Interment was made in Rathbunville Cemetery.
