Brannon, Edward C., born May 7, 1937 in Coker Creek, TN, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Sweetwater Hospital. He was a dear and dedicated husband for 42 years. Employed with Bob Lee Sawmill for several years and retired from Alcoa Aluminum Co. Loved camping and fishing. Member of Rural Vale Baptist Church. Survivors, loving wife, Bennie Lee Brannon; sisters, Christine Frerichs, Emma Walker, both of Tellico Plains, Hilda Evans, Benton; brothers & sisters-in-law, Stanley & Ina Brannon, Burnard & Ersa Brannon, Guy & Barbara Brannon, Helen Coleman, all of Tellico Plains; several nieces & nephews; special friends, Luther Bivens, Buddy Ray Tallent & Mike Tallent. Preceded in death by father, George W. Brannon, mother, Nellie Leming Brannon, sisters, Irene Dockery & Patricia Gay, brothers, Johnny (Sam) & Daniel Brannon, mother-in-law, Alice Breedlove.
