Mrs. Charles H. Stevens

Funeral for a former Kitchener woman, Mrs. Charles H. Stevens, 83,of 116 Watson Ave., Toronto, will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home. Mrs. Stevens died Friday after a brief illness at Western Hospital, Toronto. Rev. Albert A. Lorch of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Toronto, will officiate at the funeral service. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery. The former Lina Bierwagen, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Bierwagen. She was born in Germany March 17, 1881. Mrs. Stevens was a member of Redeemer Church, Toronto. She moved to Toronto from Kitchener 15 years ago. Surviving are her husband, to whom she was married June 17, 1907, in Kitchener; two sons, Carl and Edwin, both of Kitchener; two daughters, Ruth and Mrs. Dorothy Nagy, both of Toronto; a brother, Carl, of Bridgeport; two sisters, Mrs. Otto (Bertha) Heimpel and Mrs. Mary Piellusch, both of Kitchener, and seven grandchildren.
