TIBBETTS, Rose Ann ROSE ANN ADAMS TIBBETTS One of God's Earth Angels, Rose Ann Adams Tibbetts, 72 of Hampton, GA, returned to her heavenly Creator on March 27th, 2010 after a lifelong series of medical miracles. Her life was a testament of her will to be here to enjoy the pleasures of her loving family. Rose Ann was born in Atlanta, GA on April 26, 1937 to Julius Malcolm Adams and Mary Ann Coker Adams. Rose Ann was married for 55 years to her soul mate and life partner, Lawrence Douglas Tibbetts. She is survived by her two loving children, Gail Ann Tibbetts and Larry Tibbetts; seven grandchildren (Tres, Christopher, Amy, Amber, Ricky and Kyle); and five great-grandchildren, (Amiya, Lilli, Destiny, Will and Noah). Sisters are Mary Grace (deceased) and Elizabeth. Rose Ann counted her tremendous love and commitment to children as one of her deepest passions. She loved spending time with her nieces and all of her extended family. Rose Ann taught elementary school and also loved her time serving others as past president of the Jaycettes. She was described by her family as "a brave and courageous soul who taught us to overcome all obstacles through faith!" Rose Ann was a faithful servant of God and a regular member of Harp's Crossing Baptist Church in Fayetteville, GA. She loved to shop with her grandchildren and to be in nature. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children® toll-free at 1.800.241.4438. A "Celebration for Rose" will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday evening at Harp's Crossing Baptist Church in Fayetteville, GA.
