Born in Anderson, SC on October 7, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Lucy Gunter Middleton. She retired from Orr-Lyons Mill as a weaver of more than 30 years. Gladys was a member of the Sunshine Club.
She is survived by her children, John Thomas Foster and Janice Cody and her husband Charlie; four grandchildren, Bryan, Mark, and Christen Foster, and Kelly Fleshman and nine great-grandchildren.
The Graveside service will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Reverend Sam Duncan officiating.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends on Monday at The McDougald Funeral Home, prior to the service from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
