Navy Cmdr. Raleigh E. Drennon Jr., (Ret.) 56, public works officer at the Naval Propellant Plant at Indian Head, Md., from 1958 to 1961, died of cancer Monday in the Portsmouth (Va.) Naval Hospital.
A graduate of Georgia Tech and a guard on the college's football team in the late 1920's, Cmdr. Drennon served with the Navy as a civil engineer. . .
