He was born to Kathaleen (Hicks) and Curtis Dicke on April 29th 1982 . He went to be with the Lord on Oct. 8, 2015.

Deric had a gift for making everyone forget their troubles and lived voraciously in the now. He went out of his way to make everyone feel included ,was fiercely loyal and protective of those he loved.

Deric taught us all to laugh and have compassion for everyone. He had a fearless appetite for adventure that allowed him to travel the world. He had an innate ability to find an Irish pub anywhere he traveled.

He was a loving son, brother ,uncle and friend. He was selfless, even in his passing and his spirit will live in the hearts of every life he touched. He is survived by his brother James. His niece and nephew Danny and Mia, his father Curtis and stepmother Miho and their children Claire and JoJo. He is also survived by his stepfather David Parkin. He was preceded in death by his loving mother Kathaleen Parkin,grandfather James Hicks,grandfather and grandmother Willis and Helen Dicke.

Services honoring Deric's life were held at Holy Apostles Catholic Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado on October 15,2015
