Ralph N. Day, 88, died on April 12, 2017. Ralph lived in Woodbury all his life. Ralph Day served the Friendship Fire Company, Woodbury, with 68 dedicated and active years. He joined the Friendship Fire Company in 1949. He began a career as a paid Firefighter for the City of Woodbury, working for 33 years until his retirement in 1986. He continued as a volunteer for over 34 years. Ralph is the oldest and longest active member of the Friendship Fire Company. For over 30 years, Ralph also drove hearses for many funeral homes in South Jersey. He was an active member and elder at Faith Bible Church in West Deptford.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Peggy (nee Boettcher), daughters, Lory (the late Donald) Gill, Tracey (Joel) Siner, granddaughters, Lory Ann (Thadd) Roberts, Hannah, Hope and Halle Siner and great-grandsons, Nathan and Chase Roberts.

Friends may greet the family on Tuesday after 9:30am in the Budd Funeral Home, 522 Salem Ave. (Kings Hwy), Woodbury, NJ. Funeral Service will be at 12pm.

Interment Eglington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Friendship Fire Company, 33 Delaware St, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Memories may be shared at buddfuneralhome.com. Budd Funeral Home 522 Salem Ave. Woodbury, NJ 08096.
